King's Road was constructed before the American Revolution. Much

Old King's Road passed by
the Colonial Sawmill called Hewitt's, now under the supervision of the
Florida Agricultural Museum. Here is a tour by the visionary
Museum director Bruce J. Piatek who describes his plan for the future
of this historic site in Flagler County. The site was studied by
historian William M. Jones (left) almost 30 years ago, and is now on
land being donated by Palm Coast Holdings to the museum.
