 NARFENational Association of Retired Federal Employees For more than 75 years the National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) has been the only guardian of Federal employee earned retirement benefits. The membership of 425,000 is served by elected national board members working out of our headquarters in Washington and a staff of professional lobbyists who bring our concerns before Congress. NARFE publishes a magazine, free to members, which includes information on pertinent legislation before Congress and other issues of interest. The Palm Coast/Flagler chapter also publishes a newsletter for its members. Locally, NARFE Chapter 1557 meets at the Knights of Columbus hall on Old King's Road in Palm Coast on 4th Mondays except December and during the summer recess. Luncheon is served at noon, followed by a speaker of significant interest to the membership. A short business meeting follows, with adjournment by 2:30.
