as part of our
Leaps and Bounds program

Visually impaired patrons have the choice of listening to recorded books in the Library on special cassette players or they can borrow the audio cassettes to enjoy at home.

We now have 194 titles which include Mysteries, Romance, Adventure and Horror, as well as Non-fiction and Magazines on tape.  We also have special tape players available for lending necessary for you to enjoy these tapes.

Please contact us and let us know what you would like to read not in our existing titles and we will try to obtain it for you.

For patrons wishing to listen to these recordings in the Library they can contact the Reference Desk. Patrons that already have a four track cassette player may borrow : any of the available titles for a two week loan period.

These titles may be renewed for an additional two week period if necessary. Unfortunately, for patrons who do not have the special four track cassette player, we are currently unable to allow the Library's players to circulate.

Remember to ask at the Reference Desk for  audio Cassettes
