The Flagler County Public Library is intended as a central information source for the citizens of Flagler County.  This modern facility first opened in January 2000.  It features both conventional and electronic access to information, plus a professional and volunteer staff to assist patrons.  The Friends of the Library operate the Library bookstore and support the library with volunteers and financial aid.

The outstanding Children's Department is designed to serve the children and youth of the community, the library also has a separate young adults section.

This  library is indeed a treasure of Flagler County.
