The 'Old Road' from Old Kings Road to the Bulow Plantation probably looks much
like that viewed by James Audubon, the naturalist in 1831 and probably resembles
the original Old Kings Road.  This roadway ran from Old Kings Road past the
Bulow Plantation and to what is now the Intracoastal Waterway.  It is a "frozen time"
reflecting how much of our area appeared in the 1800's.
