Purpose: The purpose of the Historical Society of Flagler County is to preserve and promote the rich historical heritage of Flagler County. Membership: Persons wishing to join the Society are encouraged to visit the Holden House Museum in Bunnell or call for a membership application on Wednesdays between 10 AM 1 PM. Meetings: Evening membership meetings are held quarterly on the second Tuesday of the month January, April, July and October at various locations. Guest speakers present programs of interest on topics related to the history of the region. The Board of Directors conducts business monthly meetings at 12 noon at the Holden House on the second Monday of each month. Dues are $10.00 per person or $20.00 per family. Resources: The Holden House Museum houses a library of books, photographs and documents pertaining to County history. An archive of the Flagler Tribune newspaper is maintained for scholarly research.
