Mission Statement - Flagler County Public Library

The Flagler County Public Library will provide materials and services to help citizens meet leisure-reading,  personal, educational and professional needs.  The library will serve as a central  informational and reference access point for all citizens of the County.  Emphasis will be placed on stimulating children's interest in reading and learning.  The library will work to provide quality in technological access and help the public develop the skills needed to obtain and evaluate information obtained in electronic format.  The library upholds the principles of intellectual freedom and supports open access to all library resources and information.  Services will be provided in an efficient, courteous and option-oriented manner.
