our county coordinates its emergency efforts, and how we as citizens can
assist in this process.

The purposes of the League of Women Voters are to promote political responsibility through informed and active participation of citizens in government and to act on selected governmental issues. The League does not support or oppose any political party or candidate for office. However, individual members are urged to be as active as possible in the political process. Voting membership is open to any citizen at least 18 years old. For many years men have been welcomed as members. Non-citizens and younger people may become associate members.

A person joining any League automatically becomes a member of the local, state and national levels of the organization. The League of Women Voters of Flagler County meets at 7 p.m. the third Thursday of the month at Flagler County Public Library - meeting room.  Voter service activities of the LWVFC are sponsoring candidates meetings, debates and interviews, publishing candidate responses to questionnaires, registering citizens to vote and making voting information available.
