Ye Old Book Shoppe

Ye Old Book Shoppe, sponsored by the Friends of the Flagler County Public Library, is a treasure trove of used books, magazines, records and tapes - all for sale at truly rock-bottom prices. Books, both paperback and hardcover, sell for 20 cents each, magazines are 10 cents each, and records or tapes are also 10 cents each.

Volunteers Elaine Fusco and Sidney Friedman do all the basic work involved in running the bookstore, which brings in somewhere between $500 and $700 a month. The Friends of the Library use these funds to support a wide variety of activities not covered in the library's regular budget, including purchase of new books and equipment, children's programs and the library's annual luncheon honoring its volunteers
