General Classes

Watch out for the next offering of the highly successful Basic Birding Class from Flagler Audubon. We aim to give this course in early November so that birders returning from Northern areas can take advantage before the birding season is at its peak.

The class will consist of three 2 hr classroom sessions and three associated bird walks where you will be able to try out your skills under skilled Audubon guidance.

Session 1 – shorebirds + birding basics

Session 2– wetland birds and ducks + binoculars

Session 3 – hawks and backyard birds - digiscoping, handbooks, hot spots

To add your name to the waiting list please press the CONTACT US button above to get to the input screen. Then select the topic BIRDING CLASSES and enter your email address. We’ll get back to you.

We are also exploring providing a series of 2 hour specialist bird classes; topics include shorebirds in flight, hawks in flight and migrants. Please get back to us if you would like to attend these.
